What do credits buy?
Credits are what your agents spend when they work. The same job costs very different amounts on different models, so here are ranges for both.
What common jobs cost
- Job
- Fast model
- Smart model
- Building an app
- 400 to 500 credits
- about 1,800 credits
- One chat reply
- about 25 credits
- about 450 credits
These are typical figures from our own measurements in October 2026. They vary: a bigger app, a longer conversation or a harder task costs more, and a small change costs less. Treat them as ranges, not promises.
How credits work
Every plan can use every model. A fast model costs fewer credits for each step and suits routine work. A smart model costs more and suits building and hard problems. You choose, and you can stretch your credits by using the fast model where it is enough.
Credits also pay for the other things your apps use while they run: a sandbox to work in, hosting, and tools your agents connect to. You can see your balance and what used it in your workspace.
Monthly credits arrive at the start of each period and expire at its end, with no rollover. On a yearly plan they arrive each month. Credits you buy as top-ups never expire. When a trial turns into a plan, its full month of credits replaces the trial credits; if no plan starts, they end a day after the trial.
